On the date of service, my wife saw ******************** for an OB related medical visit. During this time, the patient has had to go through daily pain of the root of the tooth being exposed and no treatment offered by Banner.ĭate of Service: Location: Banner Health Center at ********************************************************** Provider: ******************************* This is not a complaint against the provider, rather Banner Health Billing. As of today, June 15, 2023, no verbal, written or expressed response has occurred. She advised that nothing was done and that a waiting period of 60 days would happen. Another call to Banner Thunderbird on and ****** from *************** took the call. The person (****) stated that they would look into this and would have a response within one week. No pain medication was given for the pain that the patient was suffering. No attempts were made to secure the tooth or to resolve the issue. This caused the patient's face to hit the edge of the rail and caused a front incisor tooth to be broken from the gum. The security staff then pushed the patient back into the holding room and forced the patient's head into the railing of the bed. Immediately, 4 security personnel from Banner Thunderbird attempted to stop the patient from leaving. During this time, my son attempted to leave the room. During the time that he was there, very little patient encounter by ER staff occurred. On or around April 10, 2023, my son (the patient) was taken to Banner Thunderbird ER for pain that he had in his hand.
